eligibility for josaa councelling

Dear Aspirant,

The eligibility for JOSAA counselling is as follows.

1. You should have passed ( the minimum aggregate requirement has been removed for this year) class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics and Math ( compulsory ) and Chemistry/ Biology / biotechnology as optional subject.

2. If you want to write JEE ADVANCED you should belong to the top 2.5 L candidates of JEE mains

3. To be eligible for counselling one must have cracked JEE Mains.

4. For preparatory courses a candidate must belong to SC/ST/ PwD category and must be eligible to write JEE Advanced.

Here the criteria for JOSAA councelling:

1. JEE Advanced 2022 qualification for academic programmes at IITs and ISM, as well as satisfactory performance on the Class XII (or equivalent) test.
2. Obtain a rank in JEE Main 2022 Paper 1 for BE/BTech Programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs. Pass Class XII (or equivalent) examination* with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational topics as required subjects.
3. secured a position in the JEE Main 2022 Paper-2 for the BArch/BPlanning programmes at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and other GFTIs, and has Mathematics as one of the topics in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, and should have passed each subject separately.
