Eligibility of gate exam . I have done my B.Sc and after that doing one year post graduate diploma . Shall i be eligible for gate exam ?

A large number of aspirants take the GATE exams in order to make it into the PSU's and top institutions in India. GATE score is an important criteria for the admission to IITs and NITs and a good gate score is the real gateway to a great career. The eligibility to apprear for GATE exam is that you should be pursuing final year/ already completed candidate of any of the following digree:

• BArch
• B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Pharm
• B.Sc. Research/ B.S. (4-years Bachelor’s degree in Science (post-diploma or after 10+2))
• Int. M.E./ M.Tech or Dual Degree (after Diploma or 10+2)
• Int. M.E/ M.Tech(Post-B.Sc.)
• Int. M.Sc/ Int. B.S.-M.S
• M. Sc./ M.A./ MCA or Equivalent
• Professional Society Examination equivalent to B.Tech/ B.E./ B.Arch

So in your case, if you have not done B.Sc. Research/ B.S. (4-years Bachelor’s degree in Science (post-diploma or after 10+2)), you are not eligible to appear for the examination.

According to the eligibility criteria of gate, you need to either be in the final year of your course or should have completed your course in order to be eligibile to write the exam. So yes you are very well eligibile for the gate entrance exam.
