Eligiblity criteria in IISER 2019.

You must satisfy the following eligibility criteria using any one of the three channels in order to take admission in IISER.
- KVPY Channel- You should have a valid KVPY fellowship commencing from 2019-20 academic session are eligible to apply for IISER 2019, cut-off criteria for it will be available in March.
- JEE Advanced Channel- In General category, you must secure a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List (CRL) of JEE Advanced 2019 in order to be eligible to apply. If you belong to the reserved category (OBC-NC, SC, ST, PD), your category rank should be within 10000.

State and Central Boards Channel- You will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which will be conducted at various centres across the country if you fulfil the cut-off criteria, which will be declared in March, specified for your board.

The eligibilit y criteria to apply for IISER admission 2019 are:
Nationality: Candidates of Indian Nationals, PIO & OCI are eligible to apply.
KVPY stream: Applying candidate should have the valid KVPY scholarship starting from 2019-2020.
JEE Advanced channel: One should qualify the JEE Advanced examination & obtain a rank within 10000 in CRL (Common Rank List).
Relaxation: The category rank will be considered for OBC-NC/SC/ST/PwD category candidates (within 10000).
SCB channel: Candidate should pass the 12th or equivalent exam in science stream in the year 2018 or 2019. Minimum Marks: Must secure marks equivalent or above the cut-off percentage marks of their respective board exam.
