Engineering college Jalgaon instrumental engineering DSY cutt off

The Government College of Engineering Jalgaon is one of the better autonomous colleges in the state. The campus is good not huge. The infrastrucure is good. The loction of the institute is awesome, NH6 and the locality is great.

The crowd of the college is okay. There are some cool people who will try to make the place seem good. Annual Gathering has some good performances. Celebration is all high ! There are less to no places for hangouts.

The hostels are okay but there is no mess. The canteen is presently under construction. The Balu bhau katta and MH19 cafe are quite famous spots.

The uniform with an ID card is a must. The guards dont allow without showing the card atleast. The uniform sucks !! A light colour shirt and a brown colour pants ! Yakk !!!

Now about Acedemics !! It all depends on you. The professors are good (Better in Mechanical Dept). Most of the HODs are doctarates and professors are PG from IITs and IISc (and they look like nerds).

The students of this college enjoy a different respect in almost almost all the colleges of the university. The placements are good for Mechanical and Computer depts though not 100% for any. The students go either for GATE or prepare for UPSC/MPSC. All depts have gate cleared students each year.

Overall Its a good college not a great one though. If you get it.. Take it !!
