Hello, there are many Engineering colleges which give scholarships based on your 10+2 Percentage or marks. Coming to your question 50% scholarship means that you need to pay only half of the tuition fee. There are government colleges which do offer 90% scholarship as well.

Majority of scholarships in Engineering is on the Course fees.
Here 50% scholarship means that you will get a fee waiver of 50% of your total course fee.
That means if your fees is suppose "X" amount then you will get a scholarship of "X/2" amount from your college.

Haa mi gitam University se hu aur yeh private engineering college hi. Agar aap dusre state government ke college me padna chahte ho tho scholarship ni miltha.
