Hello Veeresh

Both will help you to achieve for IAS. Talking about the engineering field.There are maths section also which will help you,if you choose engineering. But i would suggest you to do Political science,as it would be more beneficial for you in achieving UPSC exam,because the course in Political Science is much more same as the course in UPSC,like we have to study History,Polity and Geography in both these courses.

Dear Aspirant


It totally dpends upon you that in which field you are interested.If you are interested in engineering towards particular branch then you should definitely go for it .Otherwise political science will be better option.For example if you are interested towards automatbles machines then you should go with me mechanical engineering and same .
