Hello Aspirant,

MSc Virology is a postgraduate biomedical course of 2 years. The course is established on a comprehensive explanation of the human viral disease, viruses, the evolution of the virus, its mechanism, and a thorough structure of the same. For admissions to the course, the aspirants must hold a bachelor's degree in Science or any relevant field like microbiology, biochemistry, life science biotechnology, chemistry, etc. with a minimum of 50% or more at the qualifying exam. The admissions are both merit and entrance based. The regular course fee in India ranges between INR 80k - INR 2.5 Lakh.

Entrance exams

SVUCET application is to be released this month tentatively. SVUCET administered by Sri Venkateswara University is an Entrance Test and an offline exam. The full form is Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance. This exam is a university-level exam that is administered once a year to give admission to various postgraduate courses. The aspirants can get entry into colleges that are associated with Sri Venkateswara University. Eligibility - 40% or more in bachelor's degree in a related subject from an identified university.

MET administered by Manipal Entrance Test is an online exam. Eligibility - Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Botany / Zoology) or MBBS / BVSc / BSc-MLT or any other similar subjects from an acknowledged University, with 60% marks or more or an equivalent CGPA.

The last date to apply is June 15, 2022.
