hello,

If you are talking about NEET exam then it would be advisable to score 590+ to be on the safer side to easily get an admission into a government college through the AIQ quota for MBBS considering you don't have any reservations. If you have reservations then the cutoff can further go down and also for Dental colleges the cutoffs are comparatively lesser.

But the cutoffs do vary every year and it depends upon the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, total seats available.
