Guru Nanak Dev University conducts CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam in order to admit aspirants, who wish to purse their career in law stream. It is a state -level entrance test mandatory for students to seek admission in law program offered by the colleges of Punjab that are affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Punjab University and Punjabi University, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Guru Nanak Dev University came into existence in 1969 and is located in Amritsar, Punjab. Many institutions are affiliated to it, to cater to the educational needs of the society. After the entrance test counseling will be held for admission.
Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program The candidate must have passed their Higher Secondary Examination from Punjab School Education Board or from any other Board recognized by the university, with minimum 50% marks in total.
There will be different set of examination for different programs. CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam test paper consists of 300 objective questions with multiple options. The test paper is divided into four parts.
Part I -comprises of 50 questions from Mental Ability.
Part II-comprises of 100 questions fromGeneral Knowledge and Current Affairs.
Part III-comprises of 100 questions fromAptitude for Law.
Part IV- comprises of 50 questions from General English.
Duration of CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Exam is three hours. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks to the candidate.
Sections are taken in the order that they appear in the test book. Candidates are allowed to work only on the section being timed by the invigilators, at any given point of time. Candidates are not permitted to go back to an earlier section or go forward to a later section, even if they finish before the section time is called.
GNDU CET LAW/LLB/LLM Entrance Examhas no particular set of syllabus. Questions asked for Three years LLB Law program are of graduation level, while questions asked for Five year BA.LLB (Hons) program and Five Year BA.LLB program are of 10+2 level.
GNDU GMET 2019 application form will be made available on the official website from the scheduled date as mentioned in the admission notification. Application fee is Rs 1200 for General category students and Rs 600 for SC/ST category students.
GNDU GMET 2019 admit cards will be made available for download at least a week before exam date. Registered candidates can download their respective admit cards by using their login ID and password.
GNDU GMET 2019 will be held at University Business School, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, in the month of June. The question paper will be divided into four sections -Numerical Ability, General Knowledge, English and Business Aptitude.
GNDU GMET 2019 results will be announced on the scheduled date as mentioned in the admissions notification. The test takers can check their results on the official website by using their login credentials.
