I think your question is what is the syllabus for BA(hons) English entrance test.

So most of the universities provide admission for English hons on merit basis i.e. the marks you have scored in your 12th class but there are certainly some expections which take entrance for admission in the same. Some of them are

• Jamia Milia islamia
• Banaras University
• IP University
• Christ University

In some cases you have to appear for a personal interview as well. You have to check the specific college guidelines for that.

The syllabus of the entrance exams include mainly English comprehension vocabulary and grammar.
