Mostly every college conduct their own entrance test and some of college accepted CET (Common Entrance Test ) but it will depends upon your state and which college you wants to take admission .But as per your query you not mentioned the college or particular state so it will difficult answer the same .

Biotechnology is a growing field, and it will have good scope in the near future. For doing B.Tech in Biotechnology, you need to appear for entrance exams. JEE Main is the national level exam which is accepted by most of the colleges. Apart from this, you can apply for state level or university level entrance exams. This depends on which college you want to take admission. There is no specific entrance exam required for Biotechnology. You should apply for the entrance exam which is accepted by your desired college.
