Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur was established in 2013 and is recognised by the UGC. The University is accredited by the NBA and certified by ISO. It has been ranked 183 for Engineering by NIRF 2020. The training and placement cell of MMMUT help the students to get good career opportunities. It is responsible for conducting various training programmes, including personality development training, skill development training, seminars, workshops and mock interviews. The training and placement cell also organises placement drives. Over 260 students have been recruited by various companies. Top companies, such as Infosys Limited, Escorts Limited, NIIT and Wipro visit MMMUT campus every year for the recruitment drive. Average salary package offered is Rs 4.5 LPA and the Highest salary package offered is Rs 39 LPA.

And, A scholarship of INR 12400/- per month is granted only to the candidates admitted on the basis of the GATE examination by MHRD, Govt. of India. And the students getting this scholarship are given academic work or teaching load of up to eight to ten hours per week.
