For both sides and unaided private colleges ,10% quota will be provided for candidates from EWS, SC, ST and OBC category   According to senior HRD ministry official, it plans to introduce a budget session of parliament that it will make necessary for all private colleges to create not just ews quota but also force those that currently do not have sc, St or OBC quota to introduce these.

The qualification required is first the NEET examination which has preference and the seats in private medical colleges are open to all irrespective of the category.
