Hello, SSC CGL has four rounds of selection process with no interview rounds. The eligibility is that the candidate should be a graduate and the age limit is from 20 to 30 which will differ for each posts selection.
Tier 1 - computer based- General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension - 200 marks -2 marks for each and 0.50 negative marks
Tier 2- computer based-
Paper 1: Quantitative Ability -2 marks for each question with 0.50 negative mark
Paper 2: English Language and Comprehension-1 mark for each and -0.25 negative mark
Paper 3: Statistics-2 marks for each question with 0.50 negative mark
Paper 4: General Studies (Finance and Economics) -2 marks for each question with 0.50 negative mark
- Paper 1 & 2 mandatory for all posts.
- Paper 3 is only for those who have applied for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and shortlisted for the same
- Paper 4 is only for those who have applied for the post of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer and shortlisted
Tier 3- paper based- Essay, Application, Passage Writing -100 marks -33% qualifying
Tier 4 - computer bases- Data Entry Skill Test/Computer Proficiency Test
DEST-Only for candidates applying for the post of Tax Assistants
CPT -Only for candidates applying for the post of Assistant Section Officer
Finally Document verification process takes place.
