The JEE Mains exam pattern is important for candidates and students appearing for IIT JEE exam. According to new pattern total no of questions has been reduced to 90to 75
Weightage for each sections is 100. Maximum marks is 300.
Marking Scheme - For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answers -1 marks will be reduced.
Duration of Examination are 3 hours.

Hello!
The JEE Mains 2022 is a computer based exam of 3 hours. For B.E or B.Tech, it consists of MCQ and questions with numerical value as answers. Three sections are Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Total marks is 300, that us 100 mas for each section. For MCQs, four marks are awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer. For numerical value answers, 4 marks are given for correct answers and no negative marks. You can refer to this link for more information:

Syllabus for Physics is Physics and measurement, Rotational motion, Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Work, energy and power, Properties of solids and liquids, Gravitation, Laws of motion, Oscillations and waves, Electronic devices, Kinetic theory of gases, Current electricity, Communication systems, Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, etc.
Syllabus for Chemistry is Some basic concepts in chemistry, States of matter, Atomic structure, Chemical bonding and molecular structure, Chemical thermodynamics, Solutions, Equilibrium, Redox reactions and electrochemistry and many more.
Syllabus for Mathematics is Complex numbers and quadratic equations, Matrices and determinants, Sets, relations and functions, Mathematical induction, Permutations and combinations, Mathematical reasoning, Limit, continuity and differentiability, Integral calculus, Three-dimensional geometry, Differential equations, Binomial theorem and its simple applications, Sequence and Series etc.

Exam Pattern:-On its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the JEE Main 2022 exam pattern along with the official announcement. The JEE Main 2022 exam will consist of two papers: Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (M.E/M.Tech) (B.Arch or B.Plan). Except for the Drawing examination for B.Arch, both papers will be held in online computer-based manner according to the JEE Main 2022 exam pattern. According to the JEE Main 2022 test format, each topic has 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical value questions, with only 5 of the 10 questions being mandatory.
