Gauri, NEET is the entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India. CETs have been replaced by NEET and NEET is a national level entrance examination. Now NEET is mandatory even to study MBBS abroad. CETs conduct the State Counselling of their respective States and that is it. NEET remains the sole Medical Entrance Examination for MBBS, BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses.
If you are looking forward to do MBBS from India then neet is the only entrance test at national level that will happen . Students getting marks in NEET will get seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, several top medical college government as well as private. So there is no other exam than this for MBBS in India at this time . This time NTA is conducting neet .
