Dear Aspirant,

To prepare 0.1N NaOH solution we should dissolve 40 grams of NaOH in 1L of water and to standardize we should Use titration method.

Process to Standardize 0.1N NaOH is as follows :

Pipette 25ml of 0.1N NaOH in to a flask and Put the Oxalic acid in a burette then titrate it against a base with a suitable indicator make a note of the End point as it gives out the volumes of the acid everytime respectively.

Note:
  • Balance the equation between the acid and the base with ratio of 1:2

Finally Calculate the concentration of the acid that formed at the end.

Hope this helps you out
All the best
