BHU offers BSc Geology(Hons) for a duration of three years. Eligibility criteria for this having passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% aggregate of Physics,Chemistry and any other subject such as Biology, Geology, Geography, admission is done on the basis of entrance test named BHU-UET. Application process for this has already commenced.

The eligibility criteria to pursue this course is that the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in Science subjects with Physics, Chemistry plus any one of the following: Biology, Geology and Geography.
Admission in B.Sc. (Hons.) Semester I programme of study shall be made on merit in the UET.
