Binary fission is a kind of asexual reproduction in which plane is divided obliquely.resulting in the formation of two unequal daughter cells. It is observed in some organisms of kingdom Protista .Ceratium is a genus of the phlyum Dino agellata . Ceratium reproduces through oblique binary fission. In this process two daughter cell involve division of agellum & agellar
structures. Simultaneously mitotic div occurs in nucleus & nuclei produced migrate laterally. Also the divisions of cytoplasm occurs from anterior to posterior end of the cell.
