Explain in detail about the pharmacy course?
There is a world full of opportunities for students who like to pursue a health profession, who wish to do many diverse things without investing that much money or number of years and come out very successful. Today, the whole world is looking at India as the Pharma capital and everybody is requesting India to send medicines and are looking for vaccine for COVID- 19 from India because India has the capacity to manufacture large number volumes of medicines with less cost so there is always a great demand for pharmacist and sky's the limit to grow if you are in the pharma sector. One can enter into it as a manufacturing chemist or analytical chemist but end up becoming the president of a pharma company and be successful in life.

Courses
At Undergraduate level- B.Pharm
At postgraduate level- M. Pharm
Clinical Oriented- Pharm D.
Those who wish to go only in the clinical side, they can opt for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) After this course, students can also add doctor title with his name also and he would be clinical pharmacist working more in the hospitals and working along with the physicians. This is an upcoming program.
Fee Structure
B.Pharm: Rs 75,000 to Rs 1.5 Lakhs/year depending on the institution.
Pharm D.- Rs 1.5 Lakhs to Rs 3.0 Lakhs depending on the institution.
Years of study
B.Pharm: 4 years
M.Pharm: 2 years
Pharm.D: 6 years (5 years of college and 1 year internship in hospitals)
Admission Process
NEET is not compulsory for admission to pharmacy. Students can get admission through the centralized admission process of respective states.
Career
Multiple options are available. Students can work in Pharma/Biotech industry, Drugs inspector, Pharmacist in Government sector, Clinical Pharmacist in private corporate hospitals
There are plenty of opportunities overseas and in India. Students who wish to pursue higher education overseas after undergraduation in pharma, they get admission easily into the MS program overseas
