Hello candidate,

After the post independence period, the Classes were broadly defined into four different ways- Brahmin, Kshatriya, vaishya and shudras.

The Brahmins were considered to be the superior caste, followed by the shudras at the last of the class table. After the reservation act different linguistic groups from the shudras and was community got specific reservation in government programmes.
