  • Ecofeminism sees a connection between the exploitation and degradation of the natural world and the subordination and oppression of women
  • Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts on the environment.
  • Global warming, the phenomenon of increasing average air temperatures near the surface of Earth over the past one to two centuries.
  • Hazardous waste definition, any industrial by-product, especially from the manufacture of chemicals, that is destructive to the environment or dangerous to the ecosystem.
