Fees for sc students in govt medical college
Hello Aspirant,
The government medical colleges which give admission through the national level entrance exam NEET mostly have fewer fees structure. The annual fees range nearly from I NR 5k - 40 k.
This fee is normally reduced or a full reimbursement process happens through various scholarship schemes. SC candidates get free-of-cost study materials and hostel lodging in various government colleges.
There are various central government schemes, state govt scholarships that you can get benefit from. However, you have fully satisfied the eligibility criteria for these schemes to further proceed with it. These are some of them
- ONGC Scholarship eligibility-

For ONGC Scholarship, students must be Indian within 30 years of age admitted in the 1st year of the MBBS program must have scored above 60% in the 12th standard exams. Annual family income must be smaller than 4.5 LPA. INR 4,000 will be awarded every month.
Post-Matric Scholarship- must have scored more than 80 percentile in the senior secondary exams. INR 10,000 for the first 3 years and double this amount in the last two years. There is a reservation of about 15% in this scheme.
Top class scholarship scheme- SC students whose family annual income is below 8 LPA and got admitted into top institutions whose NAAC grade is A++ or A+ or is in the top 100 NIRF ranking or is declared an institute of national importance like AIIMS, central universities, etc.
