The University Institute of Technology (UIT) Barkatullah University , in Bhopal (is Formerly called College of Engineering) is a self-financing technical institute, which was established in August 1997. It is AICTE approved. It has 5 undergraduate, 6 postgraduate programs and diploma courses in emerging areas of engineering and technology. University Institute of Technology aims to impart futuristic technical education. It has dedicated, well qualified faculty and supporting staff. The Placement Cell with experts from all branches guides the students in sharpening their skills as the requirements of the industry and arranges for their campus placements.
The students from the institute have been placed with all top public sectors and corporate that include Infosys, TCS, Nalco, Tech Mahindra , Syntel, Satyam, Tata Power, CSIR, DRDO, ISRO, BHEL, NTPC, IBM, HSBC, CISCO, PCS, Bajaj Allianz, HDFC and many more.
There are various online courses too held by the institute. These courses had very good response too. The fees overall ranges from course to course for eg. For M.tech it ranges from 50K to 60K per year, etc.
