Hello Aspirant,

It seems like you are interested in pursuing a career as a Civil Engineer. If Engineering is what that interests you, you should definitely go for it. Civil engineering has lots of scope and you can build a good career out of it. Admissions into an Engineering college or institution for Civil engineering would be based on the entrance tests conducted at the National or state level (JEE, BITSAT, etc.many more). Upon your clearing of those entrances and the marks and ranks you received, you will be getting your selection of subject and the college. There are many colleges both Government and Private that offer engineering courses. The prestigious NIT, IIT, VIT, BITS, etc.many more institutions are there where you can pursue your B.tech degree in civil engineering. However, the fees would vary accordingly. Different colleges have different fees structure. But the average course fees is between 2 to 4 lacs in public universities and between 3 to 7 lacs in private universities.

I hope this information helps you. Good luck!
