Angular speed of a hour's hand:

The hour hand takes 12 hours to do 2π radians.(1 rotation)

12 hours = 12 hours *60 minutes/hour *60 seconds/minute

=43200 seconds (this is the time taken to do 1 rotation)

therefore, angular speed ω = 2π radians/t seconds

= 2π/43200 seconds

=1.5*10^-4 rad/sec

Angular speed of a second's hand:

The second hand goes through 2π radians in 1 minute(60 seconds)

Angular speed of a second's hand ω = 2π radians/t seconds

=ω=π/30

=0.03 rad/sec
