I suppose you want to ask the differentiation of
y = 1/ax+b
If yes, here you go
We can simply write it as
y = (ax+b)^-1
differentiating both sides with respect to x
dy/dx = (-1)(ax+b)^-2 (a)
or
dy/dx = -a / (ax+b)^2
