Hello candidate,

The distance between any two points in a 2D or 3D plane is given by the modulus of square root of x,y, and z components taken all at a time.

The point of intersection of the two given lines is (0,5/3,-4/3) which satisfies both the equations. Is the distance between the point P and the intersection point is √(36+289+625)/3 = 10.27 units.
