BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery . Admissions to this course is based on NEET UG Examination. Meritorious students will get colleges based on their score in the exam. The fees for BAMS course ranges from 5000 to 5000000 lakh for government colleges on the lower side and private colleges on the upper side. Admission to all BAMS courses will only take place through NEET UG exam. To be eligible to apply to any college offering BAMS, the candidate must score equal to or above the cut off range, which is as follows for the current year-

• GENERAL- 138
• SC/ST/OBC- 108
• GENERAL PWD- 122
• SC/ST/PBC PWD- 108

The fee structure varies from college to college, if it is a government, private or deemed university.

For government colleges, it ranges from INR 20,000 to INR 50,000, generally less than a lakh per annum.

For private colleges, it ranges from around INR 1,00,000 to INR  4,00,000 , again, depending on the college you choose.

Fee for deemed universities is the highest, generally around INR 5,00,000 to INR 7,00,000 per annum.
