Hello Athul, in +2, you are only taught the basic blocks of maths or Bio, there would be no fault in choosing any engineering field of any stream like ECE,CSE,IT,EEE, etc. But, if you wish to continue in the field of Biology, Bio-technology engineering is suitable. Even, you can go for medical courses. The suitability of the course depends purely upon your interest. No matter what course you take, lack of interest always results in disasters.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

Hello Athul,

Having Bio and Mathematics both in your +2 syllabus is really a good vibe as you can make career in both Engineering as well as Medical field. The selection of field totally depends on your interest. There are many options but choose wisely as it will decide your whole future. The few career options for a Bio-Maths students are :

  • Medical
  • Para-Medical
  • Physiotherapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Pharmacy
  • Biotechnology
  • Botany
  • Microbiology
  • GENETICS
  • Medical Lab technicians
  • Computer Science
  • BCA
  • Life Sciences

As per my thinking, one can go for the career in Biotechnology.  It will be best option as it has a good scope and many opportunities.

Best Wishes.
