Hi,
The decision of going for an LLB or Master of Business Law purely depends on the area of interest. If one wants to gain knowledge about the Business admisnistration and Laws govering it, then Master of Business Law can be pursued. If one wants to develop better understanding of IPR and laws related with it he/she should go for LLB programme. For an IPR professional having industry exposure, there is a very good programme being offered at IIT Kharagpur's Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL). It offers a Six-Semester, Three-Year Full-Time residential programme leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in Intellectual Property Law approved by the Bar Council of India.
There is another programme M.A. in Business Law (with specialisation in Intellectual Property and Cyber Law) being offered by The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (WBNUJS) . Another important aspect of this options is that the M.A. in Business Law will be conducted online and will be of 2 years' duration.
I hope it helps!
