For admission in BA honours in English in Hindu College, Miranda House or Lady Shriram College one has to pass an entrance test?

Hello, no.



Of course, there is an entrance exam but only for a few selected courses, which are offered by a few colleges. For example, BBA course requires entrance into colleges like Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business studies etc.



Other than that, the colleges that you have mentioned don't require any entrance exam. It's all merit based, with the criteria being your class 12 exam marks.

No, there is not any entrance exams for graduation level .you can get admission in English honours if you clear the cut off decided by the University for each college which is based on your board's % . These colleges are in the top most of Delhi University ,so some times they arrange interview for the admission after you clear cut off and visit to the campus for admission.
