Latest: DU Admission Process
Hi, admission to DU is based on the aggregate marks scored in your 4 best subjects and not overall aggregate marks secured in the qualifying exam.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Technology: Candidates must secure 55 percent or more in aggregate of 3 subjects(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology/Biotechnology) and must pass in one compulsory language i.e. English with 50 percent marks. Selection will be made on the basis of marks in the aggregate of 3 science subjects PCM or PCB/Biotechnology. Applicants who have studied both Mathematics and Biology, i.e., PCMB at qualifying exam will be given 3 percent relaxation.
Only 4 colleges in DU offer B.Sc (Hons) in Food Technology out of which 3 are womens's colleges. But you will be able to apply to Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences by 2nd or 3rd list.
If you wish to pursue to this course, I'll recommend some other colleges as you only have one college available to apply for.
Hope this helped. Good Luck
