The eligibility criteria for air hostess training is passed 10+2 from any stream, the age limit is between 18 to 27 years, at the time of applying candidates should be physically fit with 6/6 vision, the height should be minimum 155 cm for females, and 170 cm for men, though this may differ among requirements of airlines, also candidates are required to be unmarried at the time of applying for the course, should have valid passport with no restrictions in visa,language proficiency is another important factor regarding this, after initial screening of health test both medically and physically during the  air hostess training, candidates are assessed on written aptitude test, this is followed by group discussion, personal interview.

There are various certificate for 3 to 6 months duration , diploma for 6 to 12 months and degree programs for three years offered for courses of air hostess,

The minimum eligibility criteria for getting a job as an Air Hostess or Flight Steward is a 10 +2 diploma in any stream (Science/Commerce/Arts) with English as a main subject. The minimum educational requirement is a 10+2 diploma. Hav Graduates or diploma holders are usually favoured by airlines.
