I would like to tell you that one has to clear JEE MAINS to appear for JEE ADVANCED.
Only the top 200,000(approximately) students are selected out of 10 lakh average students who apply each year and they are allowed to appear for JEE ADVANCED.

After or end of the April nta is announcing qualifying cutoff score foejee advance the they provide exam date.
