Hello,

Yes, to get admission in BHMS you must appear in NEET UG. NEET UG is now mandatory to get admission in MBBS/BDS, AYUSH, B.V.Sc and AH.You must qualify in NEET UG to be eligible to get seat.The eligibility is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry and English.Candidates belong to general categroy must have passed with 50%, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40% and for PWD candidates it is 45% aggregate.The age must be 17 years as on December 31, 2020.

Yes, Qualifying neet is compulsory for getting into medical college for your bhms.
Admission in a medical colleges is not on the basis of marks obtained by you in class 12th dear even if it is bhms .
To get admission in medical colleges you need to qualify neet examination and then on the basis of your marks and rank in your neet examination, a seat in medical college is given to you for your mbbs , bds , bhms , bvsc etc.

But yes to be eligible for neet examination , there's role of your 10+2 marks i.e to be eligible for neet you must have passed in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.
