For Bsc graduate life science student which is better to choose for msc course either biotechnology or chemistry??
I would suggest if you are a life science student then go for the Allied Fields such as:
- Biotechnology
- Genomic Science
- Microbiology
- Genetics
I am not sure, if you are eligible for the MSc Chemistry (if its allowed by any of your colleges) then you can go for it, but it wouldn't be the same as you have studied in your UG. In chemistry you will need knowledge regarding the Quantum Mechanics, Advanced Organic & Inorganic chemistry which, I don't think you have enough exposure to in your UG Life science course.
