CDS examination comprises Written examination and Interview for intelligence and personality test. For admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy the exam pattern comprises English, General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics. Each paper carries 100 marks.  For admission to Officers’ Training Academy, the subjects comprises English and General Knowledge, each paper carries 100 marks. Objective type questions will be asked in the exam.
