For GATE exam even 1st year of B.TECH C.S portion should be learnt?

No, from the firstbyear curriculum only maths is part of your GATE syllabus. However if you are from computer science branch itself preparing it would be helpful to you.

Oh so you mean in 1st year only maths will be helpful but not subjects like physics and chemistry.. And yes, I belong CS Engineering..

No physics and chemistry wont be helpful. As a C.S student make sure you understand your subject very well. It will act as a strong Foundation in your technical subjects in 2nd and 3rd year.
