As you asked how many State engineering college you can apply for ,then you should be knowing that my state colleges are put under mains from 2019 and very few colleges are left therefore you should look for each state engineering colleges which are not put under mains .

there is no restriction as such on how many state engineering entrance tests you can apply for.

you can apply for all the states engineering entrance exam if you satisfy the eligibility criteria for each state's engineering entrance exam .

there will be no clashing on dates as well but thing is you must be comfertable enough to travell and reach your centers as exams can be on succesive dates also .
