There are plenty of job opportunities after both bsc life sciences and after engineering both in India and in foreign countries.

After bsc life sciences one can go for sea food and fish products sector, research in life sciences, biotechnology and fish genetics these have lot to explore. Job opportunities are in agronomist, biochemist, biomedical engineering, horticulturist, nutritionist, researchers and many more.

After engineering one can go for higer studies in India or foreign countries and get job or can make career in MNCs or in govt job or as engineering services or civil services.

All sectors provide good job opportunities. Finally it mainly depends on students' interest and willingness to work. So decide depending on your interest.

All the best for future!

Hello Rakshitha!

First of all you should know the difference between B.Sc and engineering.See in B.Sc you will study pure sciences and you will go depth in the subjects and you don't have to bother too much in the practical knowledge. But in engineering you will also go through practical knowledge of the subjects and you will go depth in the application of science. So if you want to pursue Research in the career then B.Sc is the right options and if you want job opportunity then you should do engineering.

Hope it answer your concerns.

It is depend upon your interest. In which stream do you find you the best to do it. If you are interested in computer and its application then you have to apply for engineering in computer science branch but if you find your self interest in life science then app lie for life science. You asked for the job opportunity in which branch. Maybe both branch have good job opportunity in it.

Hello,

Today, there are multiple engineering colleges providing degree @ Rs 5 Lakh/ 4 years. Some private colleges charge upto Rs 2 Lakh/year and the outcome is, you child will be in some IT MNC earning Rs 4 Lakh/ year on papers.

My advice is to pursue BSc or BEd from Ajmer/MP ( Best government college) . And do some computer course alongside.

The advantage of doing Bsc/BEd over engineering is

Less money in terms of fees

will learn something

Can study for competitive exams easily.

Less pressure.

Variety of options available for her future growth.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
