Dear candidate, yes you are eligible and you can become junior engineer after Btech too. In SSC JE(Central) and other states you can but in uttar pradesh state government JE , only diploma candidates are allowed to become junior engineer whereas, at other places btech holders can also become junior engineers.

The Job Post of junior engineer is one of the prestigious Central Government Jobs. Both Diploma holders as well as Degree holders can apply for Junior Engineer Exam or posts depending upon the requirement of the project.
The job posts are available for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract. The minimum age limit to apply for this exam is 18 years and maximum age limit is 32 years.
