NIE, Mysore is a private institute. National Institute of Engineering Mysore is a private engineering college located in Karnataka. It was established in 1946 and is one of the best institute for Mechanical Engineering. The placement stats for the Mechanical branch in NIE Mysore are excellent. The placement percentage ranges from 50-60%.
University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering Bengaluru, Karnataka was established in 1917 with NBA accredited Tier-1 college. NIRF 2019 Ranking is 157 position among Top 200 Engineering Colleges in India. UVCE Bengaluru is also a good college for Mechanical Branch. The placement percentage is nearly 60-70% with highest package of 39 LPA. Both colleges are good but comparatively UVCE Bengaluru is ahead of NIE Mysore.
