Yes , biology is the mandatory subject which one should opt for if he /she is going to give any medical entrance exam . Further as per the eligibility criteria required for NEET is that a candidate must have 50% (for general category ) aggregate in physics , chemistry and biology frim a recognised board of university . And one must be at least 17 years old at the time of appearing for the exam .

Off course Biology should be the main subject for giving NEET. With math you are eligible to give JEE exam and not NEET. Math also don't carry the percentage value in the core subject while counting for the overall aggregate marks which is required to get eligible for NEET exam.
