For SCIT admission, is SNAP qualifying in nature or merit is calculated based on the marks in the same?

Based on the marks secured in SNAP the cut off is released by the university. In the second stage, at the college level, the GE-PIWAT score is given 50 percent weightage and the SNAP score is given 50 percent weightage.
