2^a+3=4^a+2-48
Here are the steps to solve this
3-2+48=4^a-2^a
49=2^a
a=49/2
a=24.5

For the equation 2^a+3=4^a+2-48 the value of a is 1 respectively.The solution is:

2^a+3=4^a+2-48

=> 2^a.2^3=4^a.4^2-48

=> 2^a.2=4^a.4-12

=> 2^a=4^a.2-6

By inspection method verify and the value of a is 1.
