Rank for SC students varies from college to college and also year to year. However, if you have got a rank below 2000 in SC category then you have a very good chance of getting admission in one of the govt. college at West Bengal.

You can check some of the branches of engineering like production engineering, pharmaceutical etc. in Jadavpur, or else you might get some of the branches at Jalpaiguri and Kalyani also. You have a fair chance in some of the colleges.
