TNEA is the counselling process conducted by Anna University for the admission to undergraduate level engineering courses available at various engineering colleges of the state Tamilnadu. There is no entrance exam the admissions are based on 12th class marks.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state-level examination, conducted by Anna University for the admission to post-graduation programmes like M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Arch in various colleges/institutes of Tamil Nadu.
