Dear Aspirant,

See, don't go for any other books for Biology. NCERT is sufficient. However not all the questions asked in NEET will be from NCERT. For that you will need to know some of the topics which are relevant from NEET examination point of view. Coming onto the topics of Biology which will require some extra edge are :

  • Plant physiology
  • Human Physiology ( Nervous System [Brain meninges, spinal and cranial nerves, Gray and white matter] , GIT , Respiration [Bohrs Effect, Haldane Effect , Chloride Shift, Hamburger Phenomenon, Shifting of O2 -Haemoglobin saturation curve], Neuro-Endocrine system)
  • Pedigree Charts
  • Immunity: HLA System, Vaccines
  • Genetics
  • Molecular Basis of Inheritance
  • Ecology : Niche, Stratification, Local knowledge
  • Human Reproduction and many more.

Best Wishes!
