Format of question paper of MHT CET 2018 for engineering entrance and medical entrance

Hi Alok,

  • The MHT CET is divided into 3 papers that is Paper 1- Mathematics, Paper 2-Physics+Chemistry and Paper 3-Biology(Botony+Zoology) each of 100 marks. The total paper will be of 200 marks for PCB and PCM group.
  • Each question of paper 1 is for 2 marks and Paper 2 and Paper 3 are of 1 marks.
  • Each subject will include 10 questions from XI standard and 40 questions from XII standard.
  • Time allocated for each paper will be 90 minutes.
  • There is no negative marking.

To take admission in MBBS and BDS you have to appear for NEET exam.

You can check below exam pattern of MHT CET 2018 for engineering

-Each paper will be for 1.30 hours. Paper I and Paper II will carry a weightage of 100 marks.

-Paper I will have total 50 questions, while Paper II will carry 100 questions, 50 questions each from Physics and Chemistry.

-Each correct answer in Paper I will be given 2 marks, while each correct answer in Paper II will be awarded 1 mark.

-There will be no negative marking in the test.

According, to the latest changes MHT CET level is raised to JEE Main and 11th class will hold 20% weightage and 12th class will hold 80% weightage.
